This collection of drawings explores a paradigm that a drawing is a
world. Equipped with ten conditions and five methods of production, I
pursued this topic through the development of narrative. The set of
drawings view the same world from various perspectives. The first
enlists a galactic view and then narrows into the view of terrain, a
home, a workspace, and an instrument within the workspace. The clear
definitions of these drawings have been abstracted so that the worlds
are less literal and instead embodied in the process of drawing.
A motivation behind the drawings, along with creating a guiding narrative, was to think of these drawings architecturally. While the drawings themselves were not of a specific architecture or simply alluded to architectural structures, it was important to apply architectural skills, techniques and concepts while developing the collection.
